FAQ for Candidates

Q: How will my resume or personal information be used?

A:  Your information will be kept on file in our secure database and screened on a continuing basis for a match to your perfect opportunity.  When we receive an opening requiring your skill set, you will be contacted to discuss your interest in the particular position.

Q: Will you send out my resume without my knowledge or consent?

A: No, we will not share your information with a potential employer or another agency before discussing it with you. eFusion’s business strategy is based on relationships, to share your resume without discussing it with you would be a disservice to both you and the client.  Continuing dialogues with the applicant are necessary to successfully filter opportunities in an evolving marketplace; we would never submit a resume to a client if the candidate were not truly interested in the position.

Q: What types of positions do you fill?

A: eFusion has openings for temporary, long-term temporary, temp-to-perm and direct hire positions with a wide variety of clients, in many industries both locally nationally.

Q: What are the benefits of working with your agency as opposed to posting on the job boards?

A: There are four benefits:

  1. Confidentiality – Even when posting anonymously, many resumes can be recognized by someone (such as your current employer) who knows your current position and history.  More and more employers are scanning boards to get an idea of employees that are interested in changing companies.
  2. Career Coaching – On the boards, you submit one resume that is a snap shot of your career and it cannot possibly contain all the details of your career.  When you submit a resume to a specific opportunity, it can be tailored to answer the questions that the particular employer is concerned with.
  3. Relevance – As good as the job boards are, there is no way to convey the attributes you value in a position the way you can with one-on-one discussions, and you will be inundated with opportunities that have no relevance.  We know what your personal preferences are and consider the details such as corporate culture before contacting you with an opportunity.
  4. Counseling – eFusion prides itself in its ability to present new possibilities to you, assist you in discovering your ultimate career goals, and guiding you on a path to obtaining them.  On the job boards you are one of literally millions and they are not designed to provide this type of support to your job search.
